Concealed Carry Beginner Mistakes
Reprinted From:  The United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA)

When the decision is made to carry a concealed handgun for self defense, there is a broad spectrum of issues that you need to think about.  From carry gear, to how to dress, to additional training.  All of these things, and more, must be taken into account.  I found this archived article from the USCCA's free Concealed Carry Report and thought it was very relevant to the issues that surround concealed carry armed citizens.  By learning what others have done through their own trial and error, you can hopefully skip some of the more common errors.  But of course you still need to find out what works right for you.  Concealed carry is not a "one size fits all" proposition..

I was able to get permission from the USCCA Inc. to reprint it for you.  I hope you find it as interesting as I did.

I find my Concealed Carry Report an invaluable and strongly recommend you take a look at membership for yourself and your family.
